Today, I try three dumplings found in Northern China aka Shandong province! The dumplings are: Pork and Chive, Fish and Chive, and Chinese Chive pockets. These dumplings proved to be quite the challenge, as I experienced many difficulties, but I was able to find one recipe that I truly loved.
This is just part one of our an 8 part series called Lil Dumps In China – The 8 Cuisines. This series aims to visit the 8 major cuisines in China, experiencing and analyzing the different dumplings throughout China! My goal, or you may say… My dumpling thesis is dumplings are different depending on which region of China you visit. I will be doing just that! Cooking and eating all the different variations of what we call dumplings.
