Nowadays, eating out is often an opportunity to engross yourself in not only good food and company but also in an ambience that makes the mundane evreryday world feel very distant.
And indeed, the act of eating out has taken on a whole new meaning with the advent of peronalized bistros. In order to cope with the trend of slow-food, BFJ Fastfood features a design focused on paying attention to showcasing and the eating experience as a whole. With its invigorating blend of traditional Chinese cuisine and modern sensibility the design provides the theme of Chinese culture in it.

Generally, in keeping with the traditional feel wooden materials that tell about history are placed here, there and yonder. The integration of framed wall images and artsy panels on walls with wooden texture gives the place a modern touch.

Beauty and functionality are in full harmony thanks to the use of natural lighting coming in through the huge glass windows, the natural wood finish across the room and the installation of sustainable and modern ecoresin translucent panel with a very organic pattern that are incorporated in the restaurant design.

Light plays a significant part in creating the cozy mood for this restaurant. The focal point for the dining area are the the pendant scraplights by graypants which were specifically chosen to inject sustainable and natural look in the area. This creates pretty magical room with its constellation of large lighting, which comes in different shapes, dangling from the ceiling. The great thing about graypant’s scraplights is that they do not only look cool but are made entirely from recycled cardboard boxes. The small openings in the cardboard result in the unique shadow effect. During the day, sunlight can direct enter the room through the large glass windows.

Red colors on the furniture and the pendant lights create a certain kind of high energy atmosphere and to promote a positive attitude and outlook on surroundings. In keeping with oriental style in decorating, some gold colors are also used over the counter and bar area as a color being reminiscent of the Chinese culture. In Chinese metaphysics, Red symbolized the Fire element . Golden color or sometimes it can resemble a Yellow color, symbolized the Earth element. Both vibrant colors stimulates the energy and excites emotions.

Combining the love of design for food and space, the entire dining room is decorated with large painting and wood panels, allowing appreciation and viewing of the variety of food creations served in the restaurant.

The design aimed to create a number of different dining experiences in what was once a large open space by way of dividing it into more intimate spaces. The wooden table tops and benches upholstered in fabric and leather give the seating areas a warm and tactile feel. The space also include private dining room that are clad in wooden panels, providing a different set of pendant lights and dining furniture from that of the main dining room, but still keeping with the theme.
