Have you ever eaten Chinese food in Japan? Today, I walked up to a local Chinese restaurant to see if they would accept Chinese yuan. I scared the staff by speaking Chinese. Little did they know a Fudan University international student is in the area. An American who speaks fluent Chinese and Japanese is walking around Japan ready to prank the people of Tokyo! I’m stuck in Japan after finishing a semester exchange at Waseda University and am unable to return to China because of the Coronavirus.

I am not just a “white person speaking Chinese” or a “white girl speaking Chinese”. I’m silly and like to joke with people and make friends. I am not clueless! Flawless or perfect Chinese? As a non-native speaker, what does that even mean? I’m selling this for what it really is.

Direct purchases of language learning software from these links goes to supporting this channel, so I can sell you something that WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU instead of a T-shirt.
