Explore Singapore’s historic Chinatown if you want to have a taste of authentic food street experience.
Chinatown food street located at Smith street can offer a wide variety of Singaporean cuisine.
Peking duck, Chili crab, Cereal prawns, Chendol, Cheng Teng, Ice Kachang are some of my favorites. Enjoy the food after shopping spree.
Nearby there is Tong Heng, a traditional Cantonese Pastries. You can really taste the freshness of their pastries.
And don’t forget the Nanyang Old Coffee, located at the corner of Smith Street. They have nice coffee. But my favorite is their chili crab spaghetti. Superb.
I tasted Durian popsicle stick for the very first time. I’m not fond of durian but the taste is not that bad.
