Peanut Butter Noodles |Fujian Ban Mian | Easy, Quick Noodle recipe
Peanut butter noodles, or Fujian Ban Mian is an easy, quick noodle dish that can be made in 10 minutes. It’s also a cheap, delicious food that is sold my vendors on the streets. This is a great tasty dish you can make in a pinch with ingredients you likely already have at home.
Ingredients:
200g fresh wonton noodles (may be substituted for ramen noodles)
135g (60ml) peanut butter
2tablespoon 30 ml soy sauce
2tablespoon 30 ml fish sauce
2 teaspoon sesame oil
20g scallion
Instructions:
1) Bring water to a boil. Boil noodles for 5-7 minutes. Save pasta water
2) Mix peanut butter, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, and scallion. Add 1tbsp of pasta water at a time to get a thinner consistency
3) Mix noodles with sauce. Add additional scallion for garnish
As always, please enjoy :^)

4 tbs of peanut butter to make it simpler. Nice recipe. Would also be perfect with cold soba noodles.
That looks so rich and tasty!
What kind of protein would you recommend with this, like chicken, steak, fish, tofu?
Can this recipe be made without the fish sauce?
Speaking of streets, this is right up my alley. Thanks.
Saw your vid, immediately sent the boyfriend to the Asian supermarket, and made this for dinner!
I'm making this for lunch tomorrow 🤤
