Best Dan Tat in California (SF Chinatown Food Tour 2). I’ve had many Dan Tats before (Chinese egg custard tart) and I’ve had some good ones and bad ones. Golden Gate Bakery in San Francisco’s Chinatown district serves the best Dan Tat in California in my opinion. This street food shop is a local favorite and a tourist must stop shop for Dan Tat. Be warned the lines can get long so be prepared to wait.
