STINGRAY Picnic in MALAYSIA:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOnYnmDGjgc

A morning WELL spent today visiting ‘Kedai Kopi Lai Fong,’ a place that any noodle lover has already imagined multiple times over in dreams… ones that have existed here for almost 70 years?! Maybe 🙂 and I want to say a huge thank you for spending this time with us today!

Let me introduce you to FOUR amazing recipes in Kuala Lumpur’s awesome Chinatown, and also give you a welcome from both Li and myself – we are VERY excited to be here in Malaysia. Yahoo!

At Lai Fong Restaurant we’re beginning with several bowls of their Beef Noodles (the “mix selection” being the most popular) before moving on to the main event (“CHAR KUAY TEOW”) – and I think that Li couldn’t be any happier!

Besides the noodles, we also try a plate of Bao Zi (2 huge steamed buns), and a dish of marinated chicken served with rice, in the style of Hainan (from the heritage of this Chinese-Malay family).

The Beef noodles really are amazing, I love how satisfying the combination is of traditional beefy broth and those hearty egg noodles… but I will just say simply that the Char Kuay Teow are so good here, you might return to the country of Malaysia JUST to re-visit this restaurant!

Have a beautiful day, and thanks again for all of your comments! I love this restaurant, and as you will hear me talk about a little bit at the end there, this is a place I still remember clearly even after 4 years away.

See you for the next Malaysia video in a few days, and for now, be well!
Do good. Make each day count.
Love Joel and Li
